Our friend Liz Diamond, @plannerliz, traveled to Japan with her family. We love this photo of her crew in front of Yayoi Kusami’s giant pumpkin on #naoshimaisland. She says, “Traveling to Japan with kids isn’t much of an ordeal. We went with our 6, 9, and 11 year old boys, and it was fairly smooth sailing. Our trip included a magical visit to Naoshima, one of the art islands in the Inland Sea. These tiny islands have been transformed into living museums even young boys can enjoy. In addition to Yayoi’s pumpkins, we got to see Monet’s water lillies in a stunning minimalist Japanese museum (after taking off our shoes and agreeing to no photography). The Japanese are thoughtful hosts, who will welcome any and all visitors.” #visitjapan #livingmuseum #yayoikusama #artiseverywhere #publicart #japan #travel #instatravel #wanderlust #familytravel #travelwithkids #explore #bucketlist #traveldeeper #raveabouttravel #onlyravereviews
